2100 NOK per group per session 2 hours over 1 day. Session duration 1.5 hours.

Description
This stage is designed for skiers who already feel confident with basic classic or skating technique on flat and gently rolling terrain. The focus now is on handling more challenging conditions: steeper uphills, controlled descents, and sharper turns. These skills are essential for skiing safely and efficiently on varied trails.

During the lesson, you will work on:

  • Climbing steeper hills using efficient techniques (diagonal stride, herringbone, and power steps)
  • Maintaining balance and rhythm while increasing incline
  • Descending steeper slopes with control and confidence
  • Using braking techniques such as plough brake, step turns, and controlled edging
  • Learning sharp turns on both flat and sloped terrain
  • Practicing safe cornering at higher speeds
  • Improving weight transfer and body positioning for stability
  • Building confidence in more technical trail sections

Goal of the Lesson
By the end of this stage, you will be able to climb and descend steeper hills with better technique, navigate sharp turns safely, and maintain balance and control on more demanding terrain. This prepares you for longer tours, higher speeds, and more advanced cross‑country skiing challenges.
