Ready to start your climbing journey? Our Building Foundations in Rock Climbing course is designed for beginners who want to learn the essentials in a safe, supportive environment. Over three sessions, you’ll gain confidence on the wall, master basic techniques, and discover the joy of climbing. Led by experienced instructors, this course is perfect for small groups of 2-6 people, ensuring personalized attention and a fun, collaborative atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to climb for fitness, adventure, or social connection, this course will set you up for success.
5 hours over 1 day. What is included in the price: entrance to venue, climbing equipment.
Participants of all ages and basic fitness can subscribe. It is advisable to be free from injuries that can be aggravated by exercises. The course hours: day time from 9.00 to 15.00 at Oslo Klatresenter only week days.
Climbing gear: shoes rental and harness with belay device is included.
Bring your lunch and water bottle. You can get warm drinks in the caffe at your breaks time.
Language of choice: apart from Norwegian you can book a course in Bulgarian, Russian or English.

Autobelay & Top Rope: Practice climbing with autobelay devices and top rope systems, building confidence at your own pace.
Getting Down: Learn safe methods for descending, including lowering and downclimbing.
Core Strength Exercises: Simple, effective exercises to build the strength and endurance needed for climbing.
Warming Up: Essential warm-up routines, including traverse climbing, to prepare your body and prevent injuries.
Injury Prevention: Tips and techniques to protect yourself from common climbing injuries.
